1. What Nudge does

Nudge is a productivity tool that allows users to update their CRM (currently HubSpot) from WhatsApp.

We process messages you send to Nudge only to perform the actions you request, such as creating notes, tasks, or links in your CRM.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information required to operate the service.

a) Information you provide

  • WhatsApp messages you send directly to Nudge

  • Account details you submit when requesting early access (e.g. name, email)

  • CRM connection authorisation (via HubSpot OAuth)

b) Information from connected services

If you connect HubSpot, we may access:

  • Contact names and IDs

  • Deal names and IDs

  • Notes and tasks created by Nudge on your behalf

We do not access unrelated CRM data.

c) Technical data

  • Basic usage logs (timestamps, actions performed)

  • Error logs for debugging and reliability

We do not track browsing behaviour or use invasive analytics.

3. How we use your information

We use your information only to:

  • Perform the actions you explicitly request

  • Create notes, tasks, or links in your CRM

  • Maintain and improve the reliability of the service

  • Communicate with you about access, updates, or support

We do not use your data for advertising or resale.

4. WhatsApp data handling

Messages sent to Nudge via WhatsApp are processed only to extract the intent needed to perform the requested CRM action.

We do not:

  • Monitor conversations unrelated to Nudge

  • Store messages longer than necessary to perform the action

  • Read messages unless they are sent directly to Nudge

5. CRM access & permissions

Nudge uses official OAuth connections (e.g. HubSpot OAuth).

We request the minimum permissions required, typically:

  • Creating notes

  • Creating tasks

  • Linking records to contacts or deals

We do not:

  • Edit or delete existing CRM data

  • Perform bulk updates

  • Access data without user instruction

You may revoke access at any time from your CRM settings.

6. Data storage & retention

  • Operational data is stored securely using industry-standard infrastructure

  • Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service

  • You may request deletion of your data at any time

7. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your data.

We only share data with:

  • Infrastructure providers required to run the service (e.g. hosting, messaging, CRM APIs)

  • Authorities if legally required to do so

All third-party providers are required to follow appropriate data protection standards.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including:

  • Encrypted connections

  • Minimal permission design
